/ Rigging courses

We share our experience and expertise to introduce you to the world of rigging. By participating in our training sessions, you will understand the differences between modern textile fibers and the best ways to work with them.

Ours two-level courses

Discovery : open to everyone, even those with some prior experience. The first half of the course is dedicated to the presentation of ropes and modern fibers. In the second half, there will be a hands-on workshop to create a spliced loop on a single-braid Dyneema-type rope and a soft shackle.

Advanced : once the basics are mastered, we can explore various rigging techniques in more detail, including a covered eye splice, allowing each participant to create a useful rope for their own boat (halyard, sheet, etc.).

To encourage a friendly atmosphere and offer personalized instruction, these courses usually lasting 2 hours are optimized for groups of 4 people.

The cost of a 2-hour course is CHF 50.- per person. For the advanced course, the cost of the rope used will be added (price depending on the type, diameter, and length of the rope). Rigging tools are provided, but you will also have the opportunity to purchase them on-site for your future projects.
